A little log cabin, in all its comfort and warmth, provides the feeling of safety, with warmth at the center. I painted the first in this series when I went up to the Northern Wisconsin in the middle of December, for a few days in a little log cabin as a solo art adventure. I took breaks to go for long walks in the woods. There was fresh snow, and mine were the only tracks, and then this little warm log cabin waiting for my return.
