The Boston Marathon Finish. That final mile is about the history of the race, the energy of the spectators, the flags from all over the world, the signs of encouragement, the runners completing an ambitious and meaningful goal with their finish line in sight, the sore legs and the happy hearts. I painted this watercolor from a photo I took while I was running down the finishing chute, with the race goal of "Enjoy It!".
